The daycare is currently operating Monday through Friday 6:30 am to 6:30 pm

We will then schedule an appointment to meet. This is a great opportunity to see the facility, to chat with the provider, and to ask questions related to childcare. We prefer you bring your children with you to see if they like the environment and if this is the place that will be a home away from home.

After the initial interview, you can let us know if we are the right fit for you. We will email you a handbook containing all of the information you will need, enrollment forms, and other forms such as Idaho Childcare Program (ICCP) related forms if applicable.

You will be required to furnish a current Immunization record for each child, a schedule for when childcare will be needed, an enrollment fee of $100.00 per child, and the first month fee paid for four full weeks of care. We calculate our month based on 4 full weeks depending on your first day of childcare.

The first step for long-term nanny or caregiver placement is an in-person/phone interview/video chat consultation with our clients. At that time, we discuss your needs and preferences, review our placement process, and answer any questions you may have.

To move forward, we'll review and sign together our service agreement and collect a retainer fee which initiates the nanny, family assistant, or caregiver placement process. While we may currently have a candidate in process that may be a good fit, we are prepared to search for the most appropriate candidates for your family. Each family's needs are unique and the entire process typically ranges from one to six weeks in duration.

Next, you will be presented with complete candidate portfolios (See list below) for your review. Once you have reviewed the candidate information, arrangements will be made for you to personally interview the individuals(s) that you have selected. Typically, families consider one to four candidates before making a hiring decision. We recommend an initial interview and a working interview before you make your final decision. Please note that PLNS employee will be available during interviews and all nanny to client meetings until the nanny is hired. Meeting nannies without PLNS employee will result in ending the PLNS and client relationship and no retainer refunds will be issued.

Once you have selected the best pre-screened candidate for your position, we will assist with negotiating your position offer and then preparing an employment agreement describing duties, hours, pay, and the expectations of both parties. We will conduct a placement meeting with you and your new household employee and review the agreement details together. At this meeting, you and your new employee will sign your work agreement and your placement fee balance will be collected and you will be provided with the Household Employer Kit that contains important information and resources regarding IRS compliance, tax credits, and other important information pertaining to a household employer at the time the agreement is entered at no extra charge.
Playful Ladybugs Nanny Services, LLC. will do the following Nanny Screenings for you and Each Candidate's Profile will have:

A current resume showing related experience and/or education in the field of child-development/education OR related work experience to Caregiving and/or Assisting Families /Household Management

Candidates introductory letter to the client

Three or more references or recommendations. We will call the referencess for you and add notes detailing the conversation in the candidates's portfolio.

Criminal background check clearance letter, and motor vehicle background check

Completed Essay Questions / Situational childcare questions for nanny positions.

In-person interview with our agency. Notes from our interview with the candidate are included in the candidate portfolio

A copy of a current CPR and First Aid Certification

Valid social security card, driver’s license and auto insurance/registration card
Other Requirements:

Pre-employment drug screening, and social media check report if requested by hiring family

Prepare our clients to be a household employer the right way.

Many families are not aware of IRS obligations and other household employment issues. These are clearly addressed, and we are able to provide solid information and professional resources to families that will give them peace of mind and confidence. We discuss tax credits that benefit families employing nannies and caregivers.

We will give you a kit containing all information related to taxes, Idaho Employment laws, and resources to help you with your household employee at the time of employee/Employer contract Signing

At any time, we are available to answer questions and dialogue with you about household employment. If we can't answer your question, we will help you find the answer.

Guarantee:
**The guarantee applies when a client has not drastically changed the job description and has not made job demands that were not initially discussed when nanny was hired. If the client's treatment suggest that a nanny or nannies are being mistreated a guarantee will NOT apply.
If a new nanny must be re-assigned in the first three months of a placement due to nanny quitting and not fulfilling the requirements of the job and the client is not found to be at fault, Playful Ladybugs Nanny Services, LLC. will work expeditiously to place a new nanny in your home at no charge up three total placements. If three placements have failed, client will pay another retainer for PLNS to be able to find another placement.
Returning clients who need a new nanny after the four months of initial placement will receive a promotional discount of 10-20% off depending on how long the previous nanny placement lasted. If a new nanny must be assigned during the second three months of a placement, we will place a new nanny with your family a 10% discount will be applied. If a new nanny must be assigned between the sixth and twelfth month of an employment contract, the Playful Ladybugs Nanny Services, LLC. will give a 15% discount to the client on the new placement. If a new nanny must be assigned after twelfth month of an employment contract, Playful Ladybugs Nanny Services will give a 20% discount on placement fee to the client.
Recommendations:
Nanny / Family Assistant Compensation:

It is our desire to place qualified individuals with our valued client families that are prepared to compensate their nanny or caregiver at a sustainable wage. Generally, we consider this range for a qualified nanny or caregiver to be $12-20 per hour. This can vary based on job description, work hours, flexibility required, number and ages of children and the individual candidate’s level of experience and education.

It is becoming standard to offer a compensation package that may include some or all of the following: Paid vacation, sick days, holidays, and a contribution toward health insurance. While you may not be required by law to offer these benefits, you may attract the most desirable candidates if you consider some benefits as part of your nanny’s compensation package.
